Because you never know if there's some psycho honky out there putting meth on his corn flakes

Sunshine says the damnedest things.

We were heading to bed one night, when Sunshine turned around and headed back toward the living room. When I asked him what he was doing, he replied "I'm locking the front door."
Well, folks, we live in the swamp. Not exactly a high crime area, right? So I asked my dear Sunshine why he would feel a need to lock the door. His response? "Because you never know when there's some psycho honky out there putting meth on his corn flakes." As I'm wondering where he gets this shit, he says (and I quote): "Well, I would know." Let's just say Sunshine has a colorful past and leave it at that. His story is his to tell. His quotes, however, are mine to share. And today, I have chosen to share one of his morsels of wisdom with you.

Tonight, be sure to lock your doors, because you never know if there's some psycho honky out there putting meth on his corn flakes.

  1. Now there's a thought that's going to fester, says the one who compulsively locks all doors behind her.

  2. That is a great quote...and really, it can be used in so many different situations. I love a man who can make me laugh (a huge reason I married my husband).

  4. That is a life lesson you can take to the bank. Because that locked door kept your money safe from that psycho honky.

    1. If Lucid, Inc ever gets that documentary together, Sunshine can be your movie husband! (We won't tell your teevee husband, mmk?)
