Miracle? Or end of days?

I got rid of that stupid fucking clothes pole.

I'm not sure if it is a miracle of a sign of the end of days.

Sunshine will probably take it as an invitation to bring more fucking shit into the magic bus. I swear, if he does, you will see me on the evening news. "Woman kills man over clutter" will be the headline.

What makes it really sad is that, in spite of all the fucking clutter still visible in the picture above, it is a vast improvement over what it was just five days ago. If you look in the center, you will see the cubby hole that caused so much contention recently. I gave it up. I have managed to purge enough superfluous shit that he can have the damned cubby. Let's see how fast his fucking shit takes over and then overflows that fucking spot like it has every other spot in the magic bus.

Yes, I'm bitter. Yes, I'm angry. I'll deal with that another day. Not that he'll listen. I digress.

For the moment, I feel good about the progress I've made in getting some of the stuffs and things out of the magic bus, or at least out of sight.

  1. You keep doing what you can do to live the way you want. That is awesome. Even if Sunshine hasn't gotten with the program yet.

Feel free to rapidly repeat my favorite mantra (while eating a cookie if it helps) "I can't control other people." It is tough, but true.

    1. I will go get some cookies, because this is good advice.I cannot control other people. (Part of me is wondering when &where how you got in touch with my sponsor. Your suggestions sounds very much like recovery.) Thank you!

  2. Tracie is my guru. I gladly share her with you. *HUGS* You're making huge strides, Cindy Love. Focus on all that positive and if Sunshine is a little behind the times? Well, he'll either get with it or get dead. I'm sure he knows that, somewhere in the back of his mind. Self-preservation is bound to kick in soon. Until then? Peace and patience to you, my friend.

    1. Sunshine will get it, I'm sure. He was very pleasantly surprised with all I accomplished while he was gone. There's always hope, right?

  3. I love that he was pleasantly surprised. My guy, and I remain madly in love with him and his goodness, is trying to figure out how to get with the program over here (er, ours is just about communications and not dissociating) and bless him, he tries but ... 45 years of a habit makes change sort of slow. =) I'm hoping yours, and mine, get it eventually.

I love the way you are sorting through your space. I need to do mine, and I think your way of taking one thing at a time is kind of ... magic. I will find one thing to slosh through today with you in mind.

    1. One thing at a time keeps it from overwhelming me. I'm currently obsessing over all thise stupid sample sized toothpastes in the bathroom. My bathroom is the size of most people's refrigerators, so I have no room for all those hygiene products. I was actually glad Sunshine peft his shampoo, conditioner, & body eash at the hotel while he was gone.

  4. Am I the only one seeing the piƱata? On the magic bus? You live some kind of fantastical life, yo.

    1. In truth, there are three pinatas. We forgot to take them to my graduation party, so they will be getting donated to my N.A. group as occasions arise. My life may be fantastical, but it is also unmanageable.

  5. You would freak if you saw what was uncovered in my attic the week before last. My hubby has multiple addictions. He is conquering one - the other is a work in progress...clutter is a good word for it LOL

You are doing well "doing you" - you rock!!

    1. Sunshine still refuses to admit he is obsessed with hunting. "It's my hobby. It makes me happy."
Oh well, I can think of worse obsessions, I suppose.
