Sunshine saw the list of shit that must be dealt with last night and told me that he had other plans than ripping the fence out so we could replace the deck.
However, after listening to me explain how upset I was that he hadn't bothered to fix the damned deck even though I regularly fall because of it, he at least fixed the broken board.
He also got rid of the trash can filled with battery acid. I'm not going to ask to many questions about what, exactly, he did with it. It's gone. That's the important part.
He said he'd bring home some wire to fix the gap in the fence.
It may not be much, but it's progress. I'll take it.
Yay! And you didn't even have to scream.
ReplyDeleteafter I hit publish, he went outside with some of my gaff tape and fixed the gap in the fence. Did hell freeze over or something?
DeleteThere must be something in the air, Cindy. I swear the Gods! My hubby busted his ass around the house over the weekend. Maybe it's the Christmas music or something...or my relentless nagging?? =PPP
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad Sunshine made a ton of progress =)
Me too. I do hate nagging him. I'll do it, because sometimes it is a useful weapon, bu I don't like it.
DeleteWoot Woot! Go Sunshine! I always feel guilty for doing stuff that he should be doing, but he's gone so damn much, I have to do it. Except the electrical stuff. He has to do that. I like my hair where it is and he doesn't have any!
ReplyDeleteGood thinking, 99!
DeleteProgress is good! I'm glad he did all that - whatever the reason.
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteEvery step in the right direction, right? Glad he pulled his head out of his ass.
ReplyDeleteIt's a start. I'll take it.
DeleteWinning!!!
